CoughScript is indicated for the relief of wet and dry coughs due to: Colds and Flu; Bronchitis; respiratory congestion; environmental irritants or allergy.

MODE OF ACTION
Pelargonium has a 3-fold action as an anti-bacterial, anti-viral and expectorant. Pelargonium has been well researched using randomised double-blind, placebo-controlled trials for use in:

• Acute Bronchitis;

• Tonsillitis;

• Rhino-sinusitis;

• Common Cold and Flu;

and has been shown to be as effective as treatments involving antibiotics.

Its expectorant action helps the body to expel mucous and speeds up the rate of recovery.

The mucilage properties of Pulmonaria (Lungwort) makes it immensely helpful in treating chest problems, especially chronic bronchitis, as it acts to ease coughs and lung catarrh.

Pulmonaria’s role as an effective respiratory therapy is also due, in part, to its anti-oxidative properties. A Bulgarian study confirms these findings, noting high phenolic content and antioxidant properties in teas made from the plant.

Recommended Dosage:
ACUTE: Adults 5ml every 2 hours.
CHRONIC: Adults 5ml to 10ml, 3 times daily.
CHILDREN and INFANTS: Half the adult dosage
