Ashwagandha also known as Withania somnifera and Indian ginseng is a plant belonging to the same family as the tomato. The word Ashwagandha has its origin in Sanskrit and is a combination of the word ashva, meaning horse, and gandha, meaning smell. In Ayurvedic, Indian, and Unani medicine, ashwagandha is described as ‘Indian ginseng’. Solgar’ Ashwagandha Root Extract contains 1.5% (4.5 mg) of the active ingredient withanolides.

Bulking Agents: gum arabic, microcrystalline cellulose, Standardised Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Root Powdered Extract (1.5% [4.5 mg] withanolides), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) Root Powder, Vegetable Capsule Shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, Anti-caking Agent: vegetable magnesium stearate, Antioxidant Powdered Blend: beta-carotene, L-ascorbic acid.
