Bilberry Horse Chestnut Complex has combined an antioxidant rich berry (bilberry) with an antioxidant rich nut (horse chestnut), alongside several other botanicals.
Bilberries grow on low-growing shrubs with red, blue and purple coloured flowers. They are native to Northern Europe but can also be found in North America and Northern Asia. Due to their size and colour they can easily be mistaken for blueberries, but bilberries in comparison are of a deeper blue colour and have a slight grey haze. Similar as blueberries, they are a source of many phytonutrients, and especially antioxidants.
