Folate as Metafolin ‘ (L-methylfolate) is the most active form of folic acid, a B vitamin which is recommended during pregnancy and before conception. Supplementing with a daily dose of Solgar’ Folate 400 ‘g (as Metafolin’) tablets provides you with a ‘body-ready’ form of folic acid, which may be beneficial for women who have difficulty converting folic acid into its active form. Folate demand increases during pregnancy and supplementing with a daily dose is known to reduce tiredness, help the immune system and contribute to maternal tissue growth.
